cat pee

I have a similar problem.  I have had my cat for 6 years.  I am now 5 months pregnant with my first baby.  I got a brand new car seat and the cat peed in it.  She has NEVER peed anywhere other then her litter box.  Any ideas on why she is doing this?  I have noticed that since I've been pregnant the cat wants NOTHING to do with me.

The cat could have a urinary tract infection. She should be checked by a veterinarian.

she could also be jealous of the coming baby. Cats are sensitive to things like that. Give her lots of love and attention.
