kitten with the runs

Hi

I have had my kitten a week now and it as always had sloppy pooh's is this normal? I feed it wet and dry food and kitten milk at times, she is 7 weeks old. Yet it seems to eat more wet than dry food. Can you please suggest something.

Technically, yes it's normal, but she is having stomach pains. Try keeping her away from soft food, because she may be getting either too much of it, or eating it too fast. Or she has an extremely sensitive stomach, which is normal as well. Cats have sensitive stomachs in the first place. If she really likes soft food, try to get her treats the same flavor, or give her only a little bit if soft food. Kittens love to over eat when it comes to excitement, but not adult cats. They are just so tidy and know when they're full. She'll stop over eating as an adult cat, no worries. I hope this suggestion helped. Maybe bring her to the vet so they can do a quick check up. Bye.
