i'm doing and assignment in which i have to find information from e-mail addresses by asking a question. the question i'm asking is "how do you interupt cat body language?" i would appreciate it if you replied to this. thank you very much

Hi Michelle.  Not sure if I'm understanding your question correctly, but I'll give it my best shot.

It's really impossible to interrupt cat body language.  You could shift the cat from one message he's conveying with body language to another, but there is always SOME body language going on.  For instance, you can have a cat who's relaxed, sitting there purring with his eyes closed, and then make a loud noise.  This will most likely interrupt the purring and closed eyes and cause the cat to jump up and stand crouched with his tail tucked, eyes widened and ears held slightly back.

Whether he's comfortable, annoyed, afraid, in pain or excited, there are signs.  Posture, ear and whisker position, eyes, fur, and the tail all give signals about how the cat is feeling.
