Cat increasingly aggressive

My cat just turned one earlier this month.  Lately she is becoming agressive towards other family members.  She randomly attacks them out of nowhere.  Nothing has changed and she has been raised in the same environment since she was about two months old.  What could be causing her behavior.

Hi Joanna,

Try to figure out what happens before she attacks. If she is by a window then I would bet that there is a stray cat around that is pissing her off. Since she can't get at the cat she takes it out on you. If this is the case close the blinds on that window.

You can also get a product called Feliway. They make a whole house atomizer. It works like a kitty tranquilizer and will calm her down. Good luck.
