pregnant cat has fleas

I recently found a cat that I think is about 4 weeks pregnant. She is infested with fleas. I have Advantage that I use for my other cats and was wondering if it would be safe to use it on her. I called my vet and she doesn't know much about this product and told me to use Frontline because that's what they sell. Have you ever used this and do you have any advice?

Frontline Plus and Frontline Top Spot have been approved for use on pregnant and nursing cats. Advantage has not.
