my cat gave birth

my cat gave birth to one kitten that didn't make it, it came out feet first and she struggled for a long time. but that was at about 10 o'clock this mornng it is now 3:30pm and still no sign of anymore she is acting normal up running around eating,drinking, but she still has some bloody discharge, i felt for some more kittens but i don't feel any, should i be worried that she only had the one.

Hi Stephanie, well it is odd for her only to have the one.. however when a cat has one it does often get too big to pass out.. so it would not be unheard of ! She should only have a dark dark red discharge at this point and it really should not be too much. If she has any more than that I would get her checked... actually personally.. I would recommend you get her checked anyways. Things don't sound quite right.
