i asked some of the friends who have cat they said she needs a male cat now ..as she has not been in contact with any cat till now ..and she is always in my apartment..which is not that big ..

Answer
Anish,

It sounds as if she is not spayed.  The excessive meowing may be her being in season and calling for a male.  Other signs of being in season is posturing in a crouch with the tail to the side and the legs highly angulated.  Other signs may be peeing in places she should not.

If she is not spayed, this would be a good thing to do as it will make her a happier pet over all.

You may not hear the neighborhood cats, but she does!!!!!  Cats have much better ears than we humans.

If she is spayed, please let me know and we will see what else it may be.

Best regards... Norm.
