Hello, I have a long haired female cat that looks Siamese. I have had her and her brother (a completely black short haired kitty) since they were 5 weeks old. They are both indoor/outdoor cats but I bring them in at night and let them play during the day. My Siamese has always tended to be a little bit cross eyed but she has had blue eyes since she was born. The kittens were 8 months on December 28th. They have been spayed and neutered. Just last night I noticed that my Siamese kitties left eye looks a little cloudy all of a sudden and looks brown and the white part was blood shot, not blue. I am not sure if it is just a little thing that will go away by itself or if there is something more serious I should worry about. It was so sudden I am concerned. Thank you
AnswerHi Autumn, Lovely cat ! Yes, I would indeed be concerned about the change in your cat's eye. this can indicate something serious going on with her.. or it may just be a result of an injury. I realize today is a holiday for vets but I would try to get her into a vet first thing in the morning and get that looked at. In the meantime I would not let her outside at all and keep an eye on her eye.. sorry.. no pun intended ! If that cloudiness starts to spread or she starts acting uncomfortable or strange in any way then you should find a clinic doing emergency calls today and get her checked. Teresa
