Cat birthing for 2nd time

Question
My cat had her first litter November of '08. She had not much interest in caring for them <none survived> and now she is pregnant again and i wonder how to go about this? I confined her to my room and she delivered there. Was it my fault or was it because it could've been her first pregnancy? Do I let her go wherever she chooses or what can i do different?

A lot of times when cats give birth the first time things don't go right. This sounds like what happened with yours. I am attaching a link to an article that has a lot of useful info for you.
