New born puppies

  Good morning. My female dog gave birth to 7 puppies on Monday, July 03,06 All of them are not the color/colour of the mother and or father. Is is this normal. I would like to know how many months/weeks it would take before they begin to walk, open their eyes and move around.

Puppies usually open their eyes between 7 and 10 days of age.  They should start moving around at about 2 weeks, and walking at 2 to 3 weeks.  Start weaning them between 4 to 5 weeks, so they will be eating on their own by 6 weeks.  They should be vaccinated at 8, 12, and 16 weeks.

Depending on what kind of puppies they are, colors should be very much like the parents or grandparents.  Are you sure they don't have more than one daddy?  Hope all turns out well.
