Hello, I'm doing a project for my health occupations class and I would like to ask you a few
questions about being in the veterinary field.
- What are the major duties and responsibilities?
- What do you like most about your job?
- What do you least?
- Are there any special physical demands?
- How many other people do you work with?
- How many hours do you usually work?

Hi Jessica!

1. major duties- an LVT is responsible for everything EXCEPT diagnosing, prescribing or performing surgery.

2. what do I like most? the animals! :)

3. Least- nasty clients.

4. physical demands? - if you work with large animals, you have to pick them up etc.. lots of bending and lifting.

5. many people I work with? - I currently have 9 team members

6. hours?  40 per week
