Question
QUESTION: I have 2 baby maroon clowns and a saddle anemone. Ihave had them for about a month and a half. But they still havent gone in it yet why?

Also my anemone keeps climbing to the top off my tank on my glass how do I stop this?

ANSWER: Hi Steven:  Baby Clown fish are not born immune to the anemone it takes them some time to get use to them.  The anemone may be looking for light... is your lighting system reaching the bottom of the tank???? what is the water temperature?  dave

QUESTION: about 80 degrees. yes it reaches the bottem. The clowns have already touched the anemone because i have seen the bumps on the fishes faces from the stings.

ANSWER: eventually they will get use to it and then they will live in it.  Try feeding them brine shrimp right over the anemone and see if that encourages them to bond to it.  They are known to move around quite a bit until they find the perfect location.  They like to burrow into sand that is near to live rock... how much sand do you have?  What do you feed it????  dave

QUESTION: i don't have sand i have crushed coral about 5 to 6 inches. its a 36 gal. tank.it usauly eats the fish pellets i feed my clowns and shrimp.

Answer
I would still try some "real" food for the anemone such as brine shrimp or even small frozen (thawed) fish such as silver sides, etc.  These anemone are famous for moving about... they want to find the best spot possible. Consider a small container of live sand near or in the live rock and it may just decide to take up living there.  In the meantime it will move around until it is happy... dave
