Can I use synthaproof as a liner for my pond

Question
Have built a plant only pond of concrete blocks 21' long x 2'8 wide x 1'6 deep with a 4" concrete base. Can I use synthaproof to make it water tight? I really do not want to use a plastic or rubber liner.

Answer
Hi Grenville

I am not familiar with the material that you have mentioned.
If you call the maker they would be able to tell you if it is non toxic to fish and plant life.
NEVER use anything that is oil based.
I know that Home depot sells something called "Dry-lock"
I have been using the latex based formula and it seems to be very good.
Again DO NOT USE THE OIL BASED FORMULA! IT IS TOXIC TO FISH AND PLANTS!

Good Luck!
