pond enlargement

Question
I started enlarging my pond to accomadate two large kois I received towards the end of last summer. I used a double side tape supplied by a local pond store . The tape is not working well and now I have the pond down for much longer than I anticipated. Apart from buying a new liner, is there anything I can do.

The original pond was roughly 4 feet by eight feet by two feet deep, I added a five feet basin on one side 18/12 inches deep and shelf on the other side 12 inches deep by two feet wide. Any suggestions.

thanks,
roy

Answer
Hi Roy,

There is no way you could really seal the liner without removing the wrinkles.

As a matter of fact, there shouldn't be any wrinkles in the first place.

If the liner is properly cleaned, and if it isn't too old, I see no reason why it shouldn't work.
did you use the recommended primer before applying the tape?
