KOI POND SPRING MAINTENANCE

I LIVE IN MA AND INSTALLED A 18X12 KOI POND. WHAT SHOULD BE DONE TO THE RUBBER LINER, FILTERS ETC TO HELP KEEP FISH ALIVE WHILE CLEANING

Hey Don, I have about the same size pond with Koi. I don't even have a filter. I live in OH so I am getting geared up also. I don't do anything special. I actually get in my pond with boots and get all the debris out with my hands then run a wet/dry vacuum on the bottom. They are pretty hardy fish. I have never lost any that way. The filters need to be cleaned periodically but I do nothing to the liner. Thanks Eric
