poorly fantail

swimming at surface-big gulps when swimming-put it in smaller container when cleaning and it perked up.seems to have a couple of large orange spots on side of head??ok for a couple o days when tank cleaned then poorly again soon after-help please

hi lena, sorry about the bad news.....

sounds like a possible minor infection.  i would treat with either mela-fix or prima-fix both available at most pet stores or at www.petsolutions.com  and be sure u are using salt in the water.  1 teaspoon per 5 gal  of aquarium salt
