Question
I have a tank of  orandas and I have one thats black and orange and hes starting to lose his cap. do you know why that he would be doing that. and why do they case each other around are they just playing or trying to hurt each other.

Answer
Hi Kasey,
Due the genetics of the coloring, it is often the case that Oranda will lose their caps as they get older.
It is normal.
As far as them chasing each other, how many Oranda do you have, and how big is your tank?
Oranda grow to 6 inches and it is possible that you have too many and they are fighting.
