i dont know if you remember me but you answer my ? before about my mollies like last week.i have a guppy that didnt have a large stomach but i knew for sure she was pregnant she has a large tailfin which i think is  a fancy guppy i knew she was pregnant cause she has a very dark gravid spot and you could see the babies in there..i had her in a breeding tank(plastic one)and i came home and she doesnt look pregnant anymore and there is no babies...now i know they are live bearers and do NOT lay eggs BUT where the babies are suppose to go and drop down through this breeder is like 8-10 what looks like eggs!!!!they cant be anything else, they are round and sortof clear with like a green tint to them, do you know anything about this!!!i dont know if she just layed her unfertilized eggs cause she aborted the pregnancy or what but i am kindof freaking out i dont know what to do with her or these eggs...p.s.is this possible for them to lay eggs if the babies havent fertilized yet??????please help and  if you need anymore info let me know

I do remember you. I'm sorry you and your fish are having such a difficult time. There are many possible scenarios for what has happened. Here are a couple;

She may indeed have had babies and then.....she ate them. It happens. Female livebearers don't take care of their young. They see them as food just like the other fish do. It helps to provide a few pieces of live plants in the trap with her before birth for the babies to hide in.

The "eggs" you see there may have just been partially formed from another mating and were expelled with the babies, or they were all born underdeveloped she ate what she could and left the rest.

Just release her into the tank again after a couple of days rest and the process can begin again, hopefully with more favorable results.
