Question
I am trying to set up a 5 gallon tank for the first time. I am interested in the glofish (zebra danios) and maybe an aquatic frog. I have bought the tank but not the fish because I don't know how many will fit comfortably in the tank. I read that the African Dwarf frogs like company but will two fit in the tank? It has a filter and a heater. And if two fit in the tank, how many of the danios will fit with them? Or, if only one fits, how many danios can I add? The tank is a mini bow 5 tank, if that helps. Thanks!

Answer
You shouldn't keep danios in any tank under 10 gallons.

They are very fast swimmers, and need lots of room. Also, the frog could eat them.

Check out the spotted rasbora. Very small, colorful fish, you could keep 6 of them in that tank.

Or just keep a frog by itself.
