cucumber for horses

hello, can i feed cucumbar to horses? does it give good taste for them? is it good for their diet? if yes, may i know what all it contains?

Hi Rohit,

I can say in all honesty that I don't have any information on feeding cucumbers to horses.  I don't suspect there is anything in a cucumber that is dangerous to the horse so if they eat it as a treat then it should be fine.  I would not consider making it part of their regular diet...simply because it's not something that is considered a staple food for horses. For their regular diet, stick to the basics of forages, extra energy, protein mineral and vitamin where necessary.
