Horse In Heat

Hi, I was wondering how do you know when your horse is in heat because we are breeding my horse this May 2008 and I can't tell when she is in heat.

Dear Sawyer,
          She will get tempermental, and if there are any gelding's around she may "tease" them. Some mares do not show there heat cycles, but most of the time, when a stallion is around to "tease" them, they go into heat. If she is a "quiet" mare who dosen't show herheat cycle then it is possible you will have to get a vet to look into it.
