Turtle Rescue

Hi,
I have 4 red eared sliders that my husband bought as babies last year.  Two are growing pretty quickly, and two are not.  In fact, one is on antibiotics now.  I've learned over the past year how much time and knowledge it takes to properly care for them.  My question is about finding a turtle rescue in my area.  Do you know of any? I live in the San Jose, Ca area.  I don't feel comfortable putting them up on Craigslist because I'm concerned that they'll get into a bad situation.  I want them to be healthy and happy.
Any suggestions?

Hello Patty, I am glad that you are looking out for whats best for the turtles. I personally do not know of any areas but I found a link that may help out a lot

Reptile Societies and Rescues in California. Some of them work with all reptiles others work with just turtles.

Many are willing to come and pick them up as well. So give them a call or email.
