Question
Any good easy solutions to removing rabbit pee stains and odor from mattress, sofa, and chairs?

Answer
Hi Tom,

a vinegar solution (I use half vinegar/half water) can work on a lot of surfaces.  It is acidic so watch out for colorfastness.  I have found that Oxymagic (spray bottle) seems to work pretty good if you follow the directions.  You may need to hit it twice.  It's not for the odor, more to get the stain.

Also another solution is to put down litterpans and/or towels in the areas your rabbit marks.  If he is usingthe bathroom, a litterpan is needed.  If he is just marking, a towel may be better.

And if your rabbit is not spayed/neutered, the only way to cut down/eliminate excessive marking is to get her/him spayed/neutered.  By a good rabbit vet, not just any ol' vet.  If you don't have one, go here:

and find a House Rabbit Society recommended vet in your area.
