Question
my rabbit had a still born baby 6 days ago, she is now becoming very aggressive. could she still be pregnant?

Answer
Hi,

usually they have more than one baby.  Could be a potential medical problem that she hasn't given birth to others still inside her.  If she can't deliver them it could be a serious problem.  I don't really have enough info from you to rule it out or not if this is a medical issue or just a post-birth hormonal thing.

If her tummy is still big and she's moving a lot less than normal, I'd get her to a vet as soon as physically possible.  Also if her appetite is not normal and she's eating less.  If she appears to be in pain you have to get to a rabbit vet, if she's sitting very tight and compact and trying to keep her stomach off the floor.

On the very little you mentioned, it could either be cage aggression form the elevated hormones and/or a medical condition that could require a vet to correct if there are other babies still in her and she can't get them out.  Things could be very wrong inside her and if they are causing her pain her behavior would be very similar to just regular cage aggression.

Given the stillbirth, I'd not want to chance it especially because 6 extra days have passed, I'd get to a rabbit vet immediately.  If oyu need to find one  near you start here:
