potbelly seizures?

Ellie Mae   I have a 17 month old female PB. She roamed up to us at 5 weeks. I have noticed, snd she just did it, that she grunts repeatedly in her sleep and you can not wake her while she is doing it. She only gets Maxuri feed and green leafy or romaine lettuce, spinach and fruit. No junki need some advice.

Many people believe pigs dream. Piggy may have gone through something pretty traumatic before she came to you.

Sometimes pig do sleep very deeply. I've seen this often in old pigs in their teen years, and sometimes in baby piglets.

If these episodes happen only occasionally, are over quickly, and she seems fine afterward, she may just be a deep sleeper. But, if these happen frequently, or it takes minutes of shaking to awake her, or she seems confused afterwards, or if she seems to have an episode while she's awake, she will need to see a veterinarian for an evaluation.
