rufus' feet are always quite purple, my old rat, Lily, she used to do that all the time, it was so sad!! =[ When Rufus gets this he usually wobbles over to the nearest corner adn hide his face but he grips the bar and its usually hard to detach him to hold him when he is like that!!

a gun shot wound...that would be weird!! you have a one eyed boy?? how many rats do you have? haha.
Im thinking about going to get two more girls before christmas so i can introduce them to my girls that i have right now. they love company!! haha

Santana my one eyed bo Yes my one eyed boy is Santana.  He lost his eye due to infection a while back.  He is over 2 now. I have 4 boys, Smudge and Santana who are 2 and Templeton and Bo who are 3 and a half.  

Rufus is in serious respiratory distress. He should be on albuterol to help open his airways. If he continues like this, I would let him go...as  much as I hate to say that, he is suffocating when this happens when he panics. I found a rat dead with his teeth clamped around the bars of his cage. I felt like crap that I wasnt there to at least comfort him in his time of despair. He had a heart attack...he seemed like he was in pain or scared or something that made him clench the bars with his teeth. We had to saw the cage bar and slide him off that way to release him. I just sobbed and sobbed.
