Sickly Rat

My rat has been sick now for 3 weeks.  She's gone to the vet and has been put on different antibiotics and steroids.  It all started out with a head tilt and now she appears to be blind.  She doesn't eat or drink on her own.  I have to syringe feed her mushed up food mixed with Ensure.  Over the past 3 weeks she's lost 60 grams.  She's about 1.5 years old and I feel like she has a very poor quality of life.  I had to move her out of her 3 level cage because she kept falling off the different levels.  She's now confined to a small tank.  Should I put her to sleep?

Ia she unable to use her front paws to grasp and hold food etc?

Sounds more than an inner ear infection.  I am thinking more like a pituitary tumor.  

How long was she on steroids for?


Dont let her go just yet....lets see what we may be missing.
