Question
Hi Reverend,

Hope you are fine.I have bought a pair of Baraband parakeet and it cost me about $500.
unfortunately the male one has shown sign of illness nearly too month ago, it has not recovered yet, the bird eat and fly but is not stable(it is also weak) on it perch sometimes it fall.
Sadly in Mauritius we do not have any avian veterinary, frankly I do not know what to do.

Pls advise what shall I do.

I'm sorry to hear about your little one being ill. When it comes to birds, getting medical care early is essential in their survival.
Wherever you originally got these birds should have an avian vet or experienced vet with bird care.
You can also call your local Humane Society for guidance, or local pet stores (especially the ones who carry birds) - for names of clinics and vets.

When a bird leaves their perch (falls) and displays illness - it's much further along than you think. They are masters at hiding problems, so if you can see the problem, it's serious enough to get medical evaluation.
