Question
Hello again. Sorry to be a question piggy, but there is so much to learn. Anyway, I have read that corn is bad for mice because of chemicals and then some said the corn itself is bad. UGH! Just want to know if I should pull it out of the mix I have as a treat. Thanks again!

Answer
Hi again, Denise,

Corn is a staple of mouse foods.  Mice have eaten corn for thousands of years. Not always with the permission of the farmers who harvested it!

It is hard to know whether the corn in your mouse food was exposed to harmful chemicals, but the same goes for the other ingredients too.  As long as your mice don't show an allergy to corn, it is good for them to eat.  And don't forget popcorn!
