Baby mouse is shaking

Question
Hello, I have recently started caring for an orphaned wild mouse (i know for certain it's mother has died :( ) I understand that it is incredibly hard to raise these babies but am trying my hardest, she has been with me for three days now, I am regularly helping her to eliminate, feeding every two hours with a kitten milk and massaging her belly after feeding. Her appetite is much better today than before, and I'm hoping to see some growth on her soon.
My dilemma lies in that the little thing shakes a lot whilst walking almost side to side, I was wondering if this indicates something fatal? Or if mice sometimes do this, she apears to do it after feeding.

Answer
Dear Bambi,

You are right that it is incredibly hard to raise orphaned babies, though I will encourage you that many of my readers have done so successfully.  However, there are so many things that can go wrong.  There is no way to know if the shaking is indicative of something terribly wrong or not.  The best you can do is take the best care of him and hope he is well.

Sorry that I can't pronounce him healthy and happy.  However, as long as he wiggles around and feeds, he is probably feeling ok, which is what matters.

squeaks,
