Oreo the mouses eye

My mouse Oreo's eye is turning gray and is big and swollen .I tried a mild eyewash ,but it just made her messed up eye more visible.What should I do ? Will it spread to her 4 pups?

Dear Rose,

Oreo should go to the vet. The two causes I know for something like that are a tumor or an abscess, but I am sure the vet knows better-- and would know if the babies could get it too.  Bring the babies as well, and if possible transport them in their cage.

I hope she gets better.
