can i feed my iguanas dandelion greens that are in my
yard? i also have a dog who defecates in the yard? any problems here or is it okay to consider another kind of fertilizer??

Hi DRC,
Its not the ideal situation.  Are there any areas that you can fence off(flagging or ribbon will even work) so the dog does not go into the area?  Also, you want the area to be free of any chemicals, and this includes fertilizers, weed killers, insecticides and also any spray over or run off from a neighbors yard.
If you are able to protect an area from your dog, and no chemicals are used there, then its safe.  I generally wash mine well and allow them to soak for a few hours. They also love the flowers.
