Answer
Hi Sonya,
Your iguana sounds very normal with the hating change.
Since it sounds like you are driving for your move, I suggest that each lizard be transported in a airline approved carrier such as a vari kennel.  The reason I suggest using those is because they are very safe and come in many sizes. If, you would get into an accident, they are the crates that have withstood a lot of bouncing and jarring without breaking.
Since you are moving in February, you will need to provide heat to your critters while moving.  The easiest way to do this is with the chemical heat packs. Many pet supply stores on line offer a larger sized heat pack that will stay hot/warm for anywhere from 8 hrs to 40 hours.  The best would be to go with a heat pack that provides a more even heat for the most amount of time.  On the back of the pack it will tell you what the average temperature is for "X" amount of time.
Using flat sided bottles filled with hot water also work.  With these you will of course have to make stops to refill them.  With either method, you want to be sure to place towels under and on top of the heat source.  It's best to place several layers of towels on the floor of the crate so that your critter can ride safe and sound.  The layers of towels will help cradle and cushion your pets. Remember, you don't need to provide basking temperatures when traveling!!
If you plan on stopping for sleep(motel) be sure to take their heat source lights so they can get some overhead heat.  They may or may not want to eat but do take their greens and offer them.(if you are lucky enough that your dragon eats greens) If he doesn't eat greens, you may want to offer a tiny insect meal or with hold his food until you are in WA. I suggest this because the insects are harder to digest than greens.
When traveling, be sure that they are not getting too much sun and overheating.
It really is amazing how well most reptiles do with road trips.  Many actually enjoy their trips!
If there is someone else that will be doing some of the driving, although I don't recommend it, you may want to give each lizard some "holding" time so that they are able to be with you.  The reason I say I don't recommend it is because you just never know when someone may have an accident and your car needs to put the brakes on quickly.
Hope this info helps you out!!
