Ferret Feeding

Hello, my ferret's name is Lillie and lately i haven't been able to buy her the ferret food she normally eats, so I was trying to switch her to a less expensive brand, but she refuses to eat it. It has been three days since her last feeding. What can i do? What else can i feed her? And is raw ground beef  a good substitute?

Ferrets imprint on food at a young age and if she hasn't been exposed to other foods it may take a while to get her eating something new.  Mix her old food with her new food first.  Beef isn't a great idea - raw chicken is better but if she won't switch to a new kibble (she may be telling you she doesn't like it) then chances are she won't eat meat either.
