Dog fence

Hi, I have a new puppy that is 7 weeks old. Our older dog is trained to stay within our underground fence. When can I start training my new puppy to stay in the electric fence.

Hi, Jason, and congratulations on your new puppy! I wouldn't put the invisible fence collar on her until she's at least 6 months old. However, you >>can<< go ahead and start using a retractable leash or long line to begin reinforcing the boundary now, if she starts heading that way whenever you take her out, if you want. At her age, she will probably stay pretty close to you. Enjoy that!
