Questioni have 6 months old Lab female. it does not bark. plz help me. how she barks on everyone?
AnswerDon't worry, dogs often don't start barking until they reach adolescence. But, be aware that Labs are not known for their watchdog barking anyway. You can get some dogs to bark by frustrating them by holding a treat just out of reach until they vocalize to try to get you to give it to them. When the dog makes a sound, even if it isn't a full bark, say "good" and give her the treat. After a few times, if she is barking when you do that, add a cue, such as "speak" when you give her the treat.
