Pink Nose on Blue Merle Puppy

I am looking to purchase a blue merle female from a breeder.  The puppy's nose has some pink on it and she has told me that it will darken as the puppy gets older.  Is this true?  I have been looking for a long time and have yet to see the pink nose.  I just don't want to spend a large amount of money without feeling confident that this is true.  Thanks for your help!

I have a Blue and her nose hair is very thin and the area around the nose is pink.  I don't think there is a problem here.  You mean a "brindled" nose or all pink nose?  I doubt there is any significant issue.

Trust the breeder's judgement if there is a good pedigree and you are seeing the pups.
