Our lab is 12 months old.  we have 3 acres of land no fence.  I can not seem to keep her from running out of the yard.  I am afraid that if I only let her out on a leash she wont get enough free romping time.  what should i do?

Get her a 50 foot tether, not a rope. Tether her when you cant watch and correct her. You should give her a walk once a day at lest it gives a change of pace that dogs crave, you can leave her off leash when your outthere playing with her this way you cna correct her for running off. Or you can get underground fencing and this comes with a collar when the dog walks over the boundry line it either shocks the dog or makes an ear pircing sound I can't remember.
