What is the best food out there, i have gotten horrow stories about bad food, is it true tell me now for i do not know what is good or not good.]

Hi Pop,
It is HORROR stories for real.  I have the last two weeks been researching dog foods it is truly frightening what our dogs are eating and what we are paying thinking it is good food.
One of the worse is Purina Co for picking up stored 50 gallon drums of old oil and grease and putting in with a name of course as a filler, also dead or put down cats n dogs on meds are being ground up and mixed, road kills, feathers, u name it and it is in the top foods as well.
I am leaning to chicken soup and Bil Jac for now.
