my sheppard is nine months old and only one ball has fallen shoudl i be worried?

Yep your dog has a genetic condition that predisposes him to having a higher risk of cancer and other disorders. Have him neutered immediately to decrease his chance of cancer. Do not breed him as this condition will be passed on to his pups.
