Question
Hi,
I've a white boxer he is 18 months old and he has a short head compare to other boxers. he is healthy and has good shape I love he a lot can this be improved by giving calcium Supplement.

Answer
I think he is mature now and the shape of his head is fixed.   Mature dogs have the ability to excrete excess calcium.  Calcium supplements won't hurt them, but can ruin a growing puppy's hips.  Puppies can't excrete excess calcium and too much interferes with using what they need.  Most puppy chows have as much or more than they need.  Any additional calcium can cause problems.  It is best to switch large breed puppies to adult chow at 4 months.

One of the best things you can do for him now is to keep him lean.  Usually that is easy with Boxers.  Some of them keep themselves very lean.  if yours does, the best thing is to feed him what he will eat of a dry, meat based chow and little else.  Leave well enough alone.
