German German Shepherds

Over in Europe,(specifically in Germany I think) they have the larger type of German shepherds and they call them by a different name. Do you know what that name is?

I recently saw a reference to a ''King Shepherd''.  Perhaps that is what what you are thinking of.  I don't think it is a recognized breed.  Also there is the Belgian Tervuren, a similar breed.  It is more the British that use the term Alsacian due to hard feelings toward the Germans.
