Question
QUESTION: hi     i have a 10mth old working cocker spaniel pup. she has always rushed her food down and has had bouts of sickness. i have wormed her but she seems to vomit several times a day. she has a really noisy stomache which sometimes bloats but has solid poo. she seems fine in herself running around as normal. she has been weighed today and she was 5.9 in july and is now 5.8. thanks

ANSWER: It's not good she's lost weight.

What are you feeding her and how often?

The first thing I'd do is back up and divide her food up into 4 meals a day...then go to 3 and see if that solves the problem.

To prevent her wolfing it down too fast..put half in the bowl, let her eat it, then give her the other half.

QUESTION: i was giving her wagg puppy twice a day and she used to wolf it down and a couple of weeks ago i changed gradually to the pedigree puppy dried food but shes the same. do you have any recommendations. thanks

ANSWER: Pedigree is total garbage.  I know you're in the UK and unfortunately I have no idea what's available there so recommendations are difficult.

Are you willing to add some homecooked food to her diet?  Was she doing better on the Wagg Puppy Food?  (I'm going to look it up and see what's in it).

QUESTION: the good brands are apparantly  john wellbeloved and hills and pro-plan. thanks

Answer
Stay away from Hill's.

First let's try multiple feedings and even those meals divided in half so she's not swallowing too fast & too much.

Get some WellBeloved and slowly add a bit daily.  You can also give her some scrambled egg..cook using no milk or oil.
