Question
I just purchased a beagle puppy and found some fleas on her...I have had dogs before and never had fleas..I'm thinking that the house she came from had them...I brought her home and noticed them right away. The first day I had her and put frontline on her..I am just worried that some fleas might have jumped off her..I am new to all this fleas stuff...I have vaccumed and vaccumed...and I'm wondering what other measures to take..I haven't actually seen any fleas in the carpet.. What should I do next? I don't want my house to be taken over by fleas.

Answer
Congratulations on your beagle puppy, as far as I am concenred they are the best and cutest puppies alive !  :)

So first thing would be to bathe her with a PUPPY flea shampoo, you would want to do that anyway since she most likely stinks a bit from being wherever she was, then would be the flea med which you already did. Just to be safe you could buy a Flea bomb and set it off in the house. You would need to leave for the day WITH the puppy. It unfortunately is possible a few have fallen off and they multiply like crazy. They are also really good at hiding and seldom are seen.

If you need any help with anything else with her please feel free to write back!
