unusual behaviour

My 8 year old dog Abby is freaking out while i am writing this. she won't go outside at all. even when i tried to coax her out with a treat.The only time she acts like this is when there are fireworks going on but there are no noises at all. can you explain this unusual behavior? with as many theories as possible?

I'm sorry, I can't explain it. I'm not sure I understand the situation well enough. I understand that she's refusing to go outside, but I don't know what you mean when you say she's "freaking out." Is she scared, cowering in fear, hiding behind the furniture? Do you live in an urban area or more in the country? Are there any wild animals that roam into your area at times?
