Question
I have 4 kittens (we got rid of 1) and they are constantly crying. It is starting to get on my nerves. We still have the mother and i think she is trying to wean the babies of her. She stays outside all day and comes in at night to sleep, eat, and feed her kittens. Is this possibly why the kittens are crying so much?

Answer
Hello Asha,

You don't mention how old the kittens are, do they have food available to them?  Are they eating the food at all?  There's many reasons they could be crying, hunger, cold, thirst, they could even be sick.  My best guess would be hunger a vet visit would help rule out any other issue's.

Has mom been spayed yet?  It is quite common for mom to be pregnant even while nursing the last litter so you might want to keep her inside until it's done.  Most area's have cheap spay and neuter clinics that you should be able to find.  There are many many more reasons to keep her inside but this is one of the biggies.
