labor in cats

What is normal behavior in cats when they begin labor? Show they be meowing a
lot?

She's probably being very vocal due to contractions. It hurts for them just as much as it does for us, Kathryn! It's typical behavior for a female in labor. She will also roam around the house a bit, may claw at the furniture, and may also want more attention than usual. She will have some discharge from the birth canal as well, so she may be cleaning herself a bit more than usual.
