questions about my kittens behaviour

hello..
i hav 2 persian cats..1 male and 1 female... i witnessed my cats mating today probably for the 1st time.. now the problem is that the female cat is only 4 months old.. and i am not suure if she has been spayed or not.. what do you suggest i should do since i dont want her getting pregnant so soon..
please help me out im really confused..

It is doubtful she is spayed at 4 months of age.  If she is over 4 pounds in weight, you could safely get her spayed.  On the other hand, you may want to neuter the male!

Hopefully, she is not pregnant, since she would be having kittens at 6 months which really is way too young!

3 weeks after mating, if her nipples turn very prominent and bright pink, she is probably pregnant.  This phenomenon only lasts for a couple of days, so you must really look right at 3 weeks!!!!!
