Pond Help!

Hello there. I am having a problem with the water fall in my pond.  There seems to be a white foam on the top of the water around the area of where the water fall pours down.  I was just curious as to if you knew what this may be casued by, and how I could prevent it from happening. Matt, I would think it is a high phosphorus content in the water. I don't know of anything to prevent it. I think it is something you water supply is generating to prevent algi in the drinking water supply.
