Question
I just started to clean out my pond and there are a whole bunch of worm carcasses on the bottom. ALso it smells.    1st what do I have to do to clean the pond, and how do I keep them out.?
Thank you very much.

Answer
Cheryl super chlorinate the pool i.e. Increase the chlorine content, but check the pH it should not be greater than 7.2 since it would help chlorine to mix.
I would suggest that after you super chlorinate do not use the pool for 1 day. With filter running for whole day , If possible change the pump (if you have standby)after 4-6 hours of operation.
And try to maintain pH at 7.2-7.4 and chlorine at 0.2ppm
This would help to clear the problem for the future
